Another awesome dvd series that I love is Leslie Sansone's "Walk Away the Pounds" series.  These videos are great for people who do not want to jump around.  Her videos are based on just walking!  She does some side stepping, kickbacks, and arm movements to add interest.  The following dvd contains several workouts on one dvd.  You can do the 1 mile walk, the 2 mile walk, the 3 mile walk, or an intense 4 mile challenge walk.  The dvd comes with a stretchy band to use for arm conditioning.

Here is the original Firm workout that I bought in the 80s for burning that fat off!  It is a complete full body workout with master instructor Susan Harris.  The moves are fun and challenging.  The Firm is known for its combining of aerobics with weights.  You will need a set of dumb bells to do this workout.  Beginners should start with 1, 3, and 5 pound weights.  As you get stronger, you can increase the poundage.  This workout is a challenge but with practice, you will get better and stronger.

 

I recently bought the updated dvd version of this workout.  It was hard doing it the first few workouts as I have not done it for 20 years!  The moves I couldn't do, I just rested and watched the people on the dvd do it.  Many of these people are professional dancers.  This workout will teach you to workout like professional dancers.  In just a few workouts, my legs are looking so much more toned and shapely.  Susan says to get your lightest weights of 7-8 pounds for some of the moves.  The lightest?  Not 7-8 pounds for me.  I get my 3 pound weights for the lightest moves!  Use the weights that you are able to use comfortably without hurting yourself.  She will instruct you on this in the dvd.  I can't keep up with her totally yet, but each workout I do, I am getting stronger and able to perform the moves better.  My goal is to eventually work up to my lightest weights of 7-8 pounds!
